Welcome to Amnesia Rockfest, the largest Rock Festival in Eastern Canada. Concert goers should know four things. 1. Free parking is available along the village highway but expect to walk up to 3 miles. 2. Camping over night is available. Many local towns folk rent out their properties for camping and parking. Also check the Amnesia Rockfest official website for more information. Expect to pay about 30. dollars for parking if you don't want to walk far. 3. Make sure you buy your ticket in advance. This festival sells out and patrons are then forced to pay scalpers over 100. dollars cash to get a ticket. 4. Drinking on the streets is allowed.
Alex Martel
Founder Alex Martel started the Rock Festival in the resort village of Montebello, which is located half way between Montreal and Ottawa. The concert grounds are well situated beside the beautiful Ottawa River. In 2005, the first year, he presented three bands and approx. 500 people showed up. Now in its eight's year the Rock Festival attracts the top bands and is the largest Rock Festival in Eastern Canada. The 2013 festival presented around 150 bands which included the legendary Alice Cooper who is on tour with Marilyn Manson.
